BoatOfficer App
You can download the BoatOfficer App for free from the App Store (iOS) or PlayStore (Android). With the app you can:
- Register the BoatOfficer on your device.
- Change the settings of the BoatOfficer.
- Receive alarms as push notifications.
Within the app there is the possibility to buy premium functions later in a subscription. You can see an overview of the functions listed here.

1 Please contact us if you want to use Helium as the network instead of TTN. A measure on your part on the device is then necessary. Details about the two networks, can be found at Technology.
2 In case of bad GPS reception (inside buildings, BoatOfficer hidden under metal) we can estimate the position based on the radioed data (only possible in TTN network).
3 The transmission intervals of the data (position / sensors) can be set. In case of unauthorized movement of the boat, the interval is automatically reduced to 30 s to 5 min (regardless of subscription).
4 With a long press of the button, an SOS push message can be sent to connected users with the current GPS position at 30 s intervals. For a separate SOS button on the device you like to buy the BoatOfficer School & Rental or have your BoatOfficer Blue refitted.
