BoatOfficer Blue
The BoatOfficer Blue is the necessary core of the system.
More than a silent alarm system. More than a GPS tracker.
The BoatOfficer Blue measures important parameters of your boat via integrated sensors and sensors connected via cable. Thanks to LoRaWAN BoatOfficer Blue transmits data without SIM card to the Internet and our server to the app in your cell phone. In a waterproof housing (IP65) it can also be installed in open boats.
Together with the free app without subscription costs (an additional pro version with subscription costs and advanced features is planned) for your smartphone, BoatOfficer Blue can:
- Monitor the position of your boat (GPS tracker)
- Monitor the temperature
- Detect vibration of the BoatOfficer Blue
- Transfer data via LoRaWAN
- Work reliably even over several months with one battery charge.
You can set the update interval in the app. The higher the interval, the longer the battery will last: e.g. over a 1 year monitoring period (in standby) with an update interval of 4 hours. The shorter you select the update, the faster the boat movements are registered. Multiple alarms result in an immediate push message to your cell phone. Alarms like vibration or engine activity (see below) will immediately activate GPS tracking with a short interval (30 s).
With the sensor cable for 1 battery or the sensor cable for two batteries the functions are extended:
- Monitor the voltage (up to 60 V)
- Detect motor activity
- Detect manipulation of the cable
With the water sensor:
- Detect water in the boat with two sensors
- Detect manipulation of the cable
